We are created with a legitimate right to belong. It is therefore natural to feel accepted and loved Relationships are vital part of our lives. As we mature, naturally, we have a drive towards more serious relationships. Almost everyone desires some form of a stable relationship.
The standards and expectations of the society we live in put a lot of pressure on the youths, driving many into relationships without careful consideration of the implications. The challenges of relationships begins for many as a result of the quick decision taken.
However, Singlehood is a unique phase of life to be enjoyed and maximized and not a phase to be endured. The success of future relationships very much depends on what we make of this period. Contrary to popular belief, you can enjoy life and have fun, fun that does not jeopardise the future!
Singlehood is a time to work hard. It is a time in which most of the life decisions you make can cumulatively affect what the rest of your life will be.
As you develop your physical being (education, career etc), develop holistically: spirit, soul and body.
The wellbeing of your mind is essential to your general wellbeing. Unstable emotions will destabilise and cripple your personality.
